Both Geelong and St Kilda have made just the one change apiece for Sunday's match of the season at Etihad Stadium.
The Saints selectors settled on Raphael Clarke as the replacement for the injured Max Hudghton and the Cats have brought in an attacker - Mathew Stokes - for defender David Johnson who's expected to miss up to a month with a calf strain.
Robert Eddy, James Gwilt and Luke Miles have been squeezed from the Saints' extended squad announced on Thursday, while Simon Hogan, Ryan Gamble and David Wojcinski are the Geelong emergencies.
The Carlton match committee has left the Blues in no doubt about what's required in Sunday's clash with Fremantle after ruling a line through five members - Jordan Bannister, Steven Browne, Nick Stevens, Heath Scotland and Paul Bower (knee) - of last week's line-up that was thumped by Essendon.
Greg Bentley returns for his second match of the season along with Jeff Garlett, former Demon Chris Johnson and Jordan Russell for the match to be played at Subiaco Oval.
Experienced defender Bret Thornton, who missed the past two matches with a hamstring strain, is the fifth inclusion for the Blues.
Joe Anderson, Chris Yarran and Cameron Cloke are Carlton's emergencies.
The Dockers opted to replace injured skipper Matthew Pavlich and the suspended Dean Solomon with Kepler Bradley and Clayton Hinkley.
The Swans have been boosted by the return of experienced campaigners Craig Bolton, Nick Malceski and Jarrad McVeigh for Sunday's early clash with North Melbourne at the SCG.
They replace the suspended Barry Hall, Kristin Thornton and Jesse White.
The Kangaroos have replaced Ben Warren, who has a broken leg, with Todd Goldstein.
