Captain Stephen Hoiles has been recalled to the Brumbies line-up for the fourth and final match of their French tour against RC Toulon on Friday morning (AEST).

Hoiles has recovered from a knee injury sustained in his team's 17-0 win over French Top 14 champion USA Perpignan and will take up his place at the back of the scrum.

Winger Alfi Mafi (ankle) and back rower Peter Kimlin (shoulder) were not considered for selection due to injury.

Regular flyhalf Christian Lealiifano will start at fullback against a Toulon side that is expected to name rugby league convert Sonny Bill Williams, English World Cup-winning flyhalf Jonny Wilkinson and former Brumbies and Western Force scrumhalf Matt Henjak.

Andrew and Tyrone Smith will continue their midfield partnership and start in the centres for the third time on the four-match tour with winger Francis Fainifo earning his fourth start.

Meanwhile, tighthead prop Guy Shepherdson, hooker Anthony Hegarty and lock Sitaleki Timani have all been recalled to the run-on side after starting on the bench against USA Perpignan.

Prop Jerry Yanuyanutawa will join Shepherdson and Hegarty in the front row while Ben Hand will start at lock after scoring the match-winning try against the reigning French champions.

Hoiles will be joined in the back row by flankers Henry Vanderglas and Colby Faingaa.

Brumbies squad:
Jerry Yanuyanutawa, Anthony Hegarty, Guy Shepherdson, Ben Hand, Sitaleki Timani, Henry Vanderglas, Colby Faingaa, Stephen Hoiles, Nic White, Matt Toomua, Francis Fainifo, Tyrone Smith, Andrew Smith, Afusipa Taumoepeau, Christian Lealiifano
