Hawthorn will monitor the knees of veterans Shane Crawford and Trent Croad before deciding whether they will be fit to take on Brisbane next Sunday in Tasmania.
Crawford played just his third game since Round 8 on Friday night, finishing with 16 touches playing mainly across half-back and in the midfield.
His availability remained a week to week proposition, Hawthorn coach Alastair Clarkson said.
"He'll obviously recover from that game and we'll make a decision again on Monday," he said.
"If he recovers well he'll play again next week, if he doesn't he'll have a rest for a week and hopefully play the week after."
Croad, the lynchpin of the Hawks' defence, hurt his knee in the third quarter but finished the game on the field.
"(He) twisted awkwardly and felt a bit uncomfortable with it," Clarkson said.
The injury clouds over Croad and Crawford were the only glitches on an otherwise happy night for the Hawks.
Mindful of the Magpies' ability to play well when the chips were down, Clarkson was pleased with how his team started so strongly in the 54-point win.
The Hawks booted six goals to one in the opening quarter and apart from the opening minutes of the third term were never threatened by the Magpies.
"They would have been disappointed with their last couple weeks' form as we were ourselves," he said.
"We knew the start of the game would really set the pattern and trend for the day and to for us to get away to a good start was really pleasing."
The Hawks booted nine of the last 11 goals of the game to run out easy winners.
"To respond the manner they did and run away with the win was really pleasing because we knew it would be a real tough contest," he said.
"Collingwood with their backs against the wall are probably the most dangerous side in the competition."
"To get a convincing victory like that was a real credit to how our guys carried out the game."
