The Western Bulldogs look set to risk the fitness of Lindsay Gilbee, Shaun Higgins and Ryan Hargave going into Saturday's crucial clash with Sydney in Canberra, naming all three in the 22 to take on the Swans.
Gilbee (ankle), who will line-up for his 150th game, and Higgins (groin) have been is doubt for much of the week with coach Rodney Eade saying on Wednesday they would be named in the 22, but given until match day to prove they are fit.
Hargave's inclusion comes as a complete surprise considering Eade ruled him out with his quad injury, saying he didn't expect him to return until Round 11.
He is one of two ins along with Stephen Tiller, while Tim Callan and Jarrod Harbrow drop out.
Sydney has brought back Lewis Roberts-Thomson after a week out with a hamstring injury, while Craig Bird misses out.
Melbourne has dropped a bombshell by omitting Russell Robertson for Saturday night's match with St Kilda, with the veteran forward struggling for form since returning from an Achilles injury.
Ricky Petterd is also out while Mark Jamar and Daniel Bell come in. There are no changes for St Kilda.
One of Roberston's former team-mates, Travis Johnstone, has also been dropped, with Brisbane coach Michael Voss losing patience with the under-performing midfielder after last week's loss to St Kilda.
