As expected, Lance Franklin has accepted a reprimand for rough conduct which rules the mercurial Hawthorn star out of contention for this year's Brownlow Medal but leaves him free to line up for the Hawks on Saturday against North Melbourne.
Franklin, who was charged for his high hit on Adelaide's Michael Doughty at AAMI Stadium on Saturday night, risked a one match suspension for a failed challenge at the AFL Tribunal.
Collingwood will be without key forward Travis Cloke for Sunday's clash with the Western Bulldogs at Telstra Dome.
Cloke has accepted the match review panel's offer of a one-match suspension for striking Carlton’s Michael Jamison with an elbow to the head at the MCG on Sunday.
In other cases, Docker Ryan Crowley and North's Daniel Pratt have accepted fines for wrestling one another at Subiaco on Saturday, North Melbourne captain Adam Simpson has accepted a reprimand for striking Crowley in the same match, while Tiger Shane Tuck has agreed to a fine of $1950 for making contact with an umpire.
