Hasleby remains a Docker

Fremantle midfielder Paul Hasleby has finally come to terms with the club to play on for an 11th season in 2010.
The 28-year-old and the Dockers had been at loggerheads in recent weeks with Hasleby wanting a new two-year deal and rejecting a previous offer despite the club insisting that it would not give him more than a 12-month extension.
But Fremantle announced on Thursday that Hasleby, who played all 22 games this year and picked up 533 possessions along the way after missing the entire 2008 season as he recovered from a knee reconstruction, has re-signed.
"I'll be starting pre-season training in early November and I'm excited about playing my 11th season with Fremantle," said Hasleby, who has won the Ross Glendinning Medal as best afield in Western Derby games against West Coast four times, including in Round 6 this year.
"Along with all the senior players, I've really enjoyed working with our young playing group."
"There is a lot to like about the future of the Fremantle Football Club and I'm very keen to be a part of that."
Ten days ago Dockers captain Matthew Pavlich said he was confident that the 2000 Rising Star winner would re-sign despite the impasse and the club's general manager Brad Lloyd was pleased that the matter is finally sorted out.
"Paul is an outstanding and decorated Fremantle player and we are delighted that he has committed to the club for season 2010," Lloyd said.
"After missing a year of football through injury, Paul played all 22 games in 2009 and we believe that he is capable of playing even better football next year."
