Jamar blow for Demons

Melbourne will be without the services of ruckman Mark Jamar for at least the next two-to-three weeks.
The 25-year-old, who's been in excellent form over the past month, was found to have strained a quad after pulling up sore from last Saturday's loss to Geelong at Skilled Stadium.
Jamar missed the early part of season 2009 because of a foot injury but has been a revelation for the Demons since winning his spot back in the seniors in Round 10.
He provided a real physical presence and dominated at the stoppages in the club's back-to-back wins over West Coast and Port Adelaide and claimed 29 hitouts against the Cats on Saturday.
With second-stringer John Meesen sidelined for the remainder of the season with a foot injury, the door may be open for Paul Johnson to make his first senior appearance since Round 13.
Rookie-listed big man Jake Spencer is underdone after returning to play for the Casey Scorpions reserves in the VFL at the weekend following three weeks out with an ankle injury.
Paul Wheatley, a late withdrawal for the Demons on Saturday, will miss the next fortnight at least because of a quad strain while Jack Grimes (back) will need to pass a fitness test if he's to play against Sydney at the MCG on Sunday.
