Despite a 3-8 record and sitting in 14th place on the ladder, Fremantle captain Matthew Pavlich is happy with the development of his young side, saying it's gearing up for a premiership tilt.
Stephen Hill, Nick Suban, Matt de Boer, Luke Pratt, Greg Broughton, Clancee Pearce and Michael Walters have all made their debuts in 2009 as the Dockers have taken a clear path towards developing youth.

"You can see them growing with each game and training session, and it's a huge new group that we have and for them to be enthusiastic, and follow what the senior group is doing, is great."
Pavlich is reasonably happy with his own form heading into the bye having been forced to spend more time in the midfield due to long-term injuries suffered by Rhys Palmer and Ryan Crowley.
He is hopeful of getting some experience back into the team as early as the June 21 clash with Geelong at Subiaco.
"The break is a great opportunity to freshen up physically and mentality and to regroup after we have had a huge amount of injuries over the past month," he said.
"Some of the guys won't get back like Crowley, Palmer and (Roger) Hayden, but we are hopeful with
