Rusling's season doubt

Collingwood youngster Sean Rusling is set to miss a substantial part of the 2008 season after his surgeon confirmed the forward will need another shoulder reconstruction.
Rusling injured his shoulder during the second quarter of last Saturday's Round 1 clash between Collingwood and Fremantle at the MCG.
While it was hoped that Rusling could recover from the injury without needing to undergo the same operation he had 12 months ago, a visit to the surgeon confirmed his worst fears.
"The surgeon confirmed on Wednesday that Sean requires a shoulder reconstruction," Collingwood chief of football Geoff Walsh said.
"How and when that happens will be decided over the next few days. It's really disappointing for Sean given he's been through this before."
The 21-year old has played just 17 games in an injury-plagued career, missing much of 2007 with a similar injury before returning in Round 20. He first hurt his shoulder in 2005, and then underwent an operation before the 2006 season.
