Seaby to Swans, Buchanan to Eagles

Sydney has acquired West Coast ruckman Mark Seaby in a complex three-way deal that sees Swan Amon Buchanan and Eagle Brent Staker join Brisbane and young Lion Bradd Dalziell heading to West Coast.
Sydney has also given up its second-round draft pick (No.22 overall) to Brisbane.
With Dean Cox and emerging talent Nic Naitanui relegating Seaby to just five senior appearances in 2009, the 25-year-old wanted a new club and sees Sydney as a perfect fit.
The 2006 premiership player could even become the Swans' No.1 ruckman with Darren Jolly keen to move back home to Victoria.
After playing a key role in Sydney's 2005 premiership, Buchanan struggled with his form in recent seasons and managed just eight games this year. A fresh start up north could be just the tonic the soon-to-be 27-year-old needs to revitalise his career.
Utility Staker will also be a Lion next year after playing just the six matches for the Eagles this season.
But Brisbane has been forced to give up promising midfielder Dalziell, who gets his wish to return home to Perth.
The 22-year-old burst on the scene last year averaging over 25 possessions in seven matches in his debut year, but missed the bulk of the 2009 season due to a knee injury suffered in Round 5.
In a separate deal, the Lions also acquired the services of injury-plagued Richmond defender Andrew Raines in exchange for their third-round draft pick (No.44).
