Collingwood midfielder Rhyce Shaw has found a new home, after being traded to the Sydney Swans on Friday morning.

Sydney will receive Shaw and Collingwood's fourth-round selection in the draft (pick 61 overall), while the Magpies were dealt the Swans third-round selection (pick 46).

Shaw has played 94 games for the Pies in his nine seasons at the club.

Meanwhile, the Pies have picked up Brisbane forward Anthony Corrie in exchange for the Lions seventh-round selection (pick 93 overall).

Corrie was originally drafted by the Lions at pick 44 in the 2002 National draft, before being delisted and then re-taken as a rookie in 2007.

Farren Ray will play at St Kilda in 2009 after the Dogs agreed to a trade for the disgruntled midfielder.

The Dogs receive the Saints second-round selection (pick 31 overall) in exchange for Ray and the pick number 48.

Ray was originally drafted by the Dogs in the first-round (pick 4) in the 2003 draft, the same year that 2008 Brownlow Medalist Adam Cooney joined the club.

Geelong midfielder Brent Prismall has been traded to Essendon for the Bombers third-round selection (pick 39 overall), while Fremantle big man Robbie Warnock will play for Carlton in 2008.

The Dockers sent Warnock and their fifth-round selection in the draft (pick 69) to Carlton, in exchange for the Blues second-round pick (24), fourth-round pick(56) and fifth-round pick (72).

But there were no trades for Brad Green, Ryan O'Keefe and Andrew Lovett, who look like they will remain with their respective clubs in 2009

Im with you jeremy... collingwood got out of jail there, shaw is rubbish... he is like the Clarke brothers from st kilda, as soon as it is in their hands you know they are going to turn it over... Thought Sydney would have been smarter than that
