Tigers suffer injury blow

Richmond's season has gone from bad to worse with the news that skipper Kane Johnson will be sidelined for the next three to four weeks with a knee injury.
Johnson left the ground during the third quarter of the Tigers' regrettable performance on Sunday against Sydney after Swans champion Adam Goodes fell across his left knee.
The Tigers' captain didn't return to the field of play and, if the 82-point drubbing that Sydney dished out wasn't bad enough for Richmond, scans on Monday revealed that Johnson has a slight medial ligament strain.
It's a headache that coach Terry Wallace and his charges could have done without as Johnson has been one of the more consistent performers in the Tigers' engine room with an average of 23 possessions a game before Sunday's clash.
The 30-year-old will now miss matches against Adelaide, Melbourne and Port Adelaide and could still be sidelined for the June 28 encounter with traditional rival Carlton.
