LeBron James scored 21 points as the Cleveland Cavaliers routed the Boston Celtics 108-84 to cut their Eastern Conference semi-finals series deficit to 2-1.
James, who shot just five-of-16 from the field, contributed in other areas, adding eight assists, five rebounds, four steals and three blocks for the Cavaliers.
Delonte West scored 21 points and Wally Szczerbiak added 16 for Cleveland, who shot 54 percent from the field (37-of-69), including 10-of-19 from the arc.
Kevin Garnett had 17 points and nine rebounds and Ray Allen scored just 10 for Boston.
The 23-year-old James entered Saturday's game hitting on just 19 percent from the field, while he missed a potential game-tying lay-up in Game One and looked deplorable from the perimeter in a blow-out loss in Game Two.
As a result, Boston improved its record to 6-0 at home in the play-offs before dropping to 0-4 away from the parquet on Saturday.
Staring in the face of a boisterous crowd at Quicken Loans Arenas - much like the one at Atlanta's Philips Arena in the first round - the Celtics seemed overwhelmed from the start.
James played to the frenzied crowd after a steal by West led to his high-flying tomahawk jam to give the Cavaliers an early eight-point lead with 6:46 left in the first.
The All-Star forward, who was three-of-five from the arc on Saturday, then nailed a deep three-pointer to make it 27-8 with 1:52 left in the quarter en route to a 32-13 lead at the end of one.
Boston got as close as 12 points on two free throws from Paul Pierce in the third quarter, but Cleveland scored six of the next eight to take control of the contest.
In the other playoff match, Tayshaun Prince nailed a running hook shot with 8.9 seconds left to lift the Detroit Pistons to a 90-89 victory over the Orlando Magic and a commanding 3-1 lead in their Eastern Conference semi-finals series.
Richard Hamilton scored 32 points for the Pistons, who were without All-Star point guard Chauncey Billups who missed the game with a strained right hamstring.
Hedo Turkoglu scored 14 of his 20 points in the fourth quarter for Orlando, who shot 10-of-18 from the arc, while Dwight Howard collected just eight points and 12 rebounds and shot just three-of-12 from the field.
Jameer Nelson nailed one-of-two free throws to give Orlando an 89-88 lead with 44.8 ticks left, setting up Detroit's wild final possession.
The Pistons went to Rasheed Wallace, who badly missed a turnaround jumper off the right side of the rim, but the carom was run down in traffic by Antonio McDyess, who was able to reset the offense.
Detroit then swung the ball to the right wing, where Prince started his drive across the lane, using a pick from Wallace to put in a running hook which resembled an awkward push shot.
On the ensuing possession, Orlando's Turkoglu missed a driving lay-up and the offensive rebound was tapped off the glass as time expired.
It was a close call for the Pistons, who erased a 15-point, third-quarter deficit to secure the win ahead of Tuesday's Game Five.
After getting back into the game in the third, Detroit took their largest lead in the fourth on Wallace's jumper with 5:20 left to make it 82-75.
But Turkoglu, who scored 14 points in the final period, put the Magic on his back, scoring six
