Tasmania finalise playing list

Tasmanian rookie Alex Doolan has been given a full-time contract, as the Tigers finalised its contract list for the 2008-09 season.

Doolan was awarded the Emerson Rodwell Medal for best player in the TCA first-grade competition last season.

21-year-old left-handed batsman John Rogers has replaced Doolan on the rookie list.

Fast bowler Gerard Denton is the Tigers' big name recruit with the former Victorian Bushranger relocating to Tasmania towards the end of June to begin training.

Tigers' fast bowler Adam Griffith will also re-join the Tasmania line-up for the coming season.

Tasmania enjoyed a very successful season last year winning the Ford Ranger Cup and finishing fourth in the Pura Cup.
