New deals for Fremantle duo

New deals for Fremantle duo

08/09/2008 7:19 PM

The Fremantle Dockers have re-signed Scott Thornton and Paul Duffield for the next two seasons.

Since making his debut for the Dockers in 2002, Thornton has been one of the club's most consistent players and the 26-year-old has deservedly had his contract extended.

Life at the top hasn't come as easy for Duffield, but the 23-year-old finished the 2008 season off in style and has been rewarded with a new two-year deal.

Duffield was promoted off Fremantle's rookie list back in 2003 and, after debuting for the Dockers in 2006, has now played 24 games for the club.

Thornton and Duffield’s new deals will the see the duo remain at the club until the end of the 2010 season.
