Polak regaining memory

Richmond star Graham Polak continues to make steady progress in his recovery from head injuries suffered in a collision with a tram in Melbourne nine days ago.
The Tigers issued a statement on Monday saying Polak was regaining his memory.
The defender can recall aspects of the Carlton-Richmond match which he was involved in just hours before the accident in the inner-city suburb of Armadale.
Despite the latest development, a full recovery is still some time away for Polak.
"I am extremely pleased to see the progress Graham has made from when I visited him mid-last week," coach Terry Wallace said.
"He still has a long way to go but he is getting back to being the old Graham we all know."
Club doctor Greg hickey said Polak continues to 'maintain his improvement'.
"He has been undertaking regular physio and exercise and he is sleeping well at night," he said.
Polak was transferred from the Alfred Hospital trauma centre to the Epworth Hospital rehabilitation centre late last week and it remains unclear as to how long he will have to remain there.
The club is likely to issue another update on Polak's condition when Wallace holds his regular media conference on Tuesday.
