Tough break for Magpie Holland

Brodie Holland's horror injury run has continued with the Collingwood midfielder ruled out for the rest of the 2008 season by a broken arm.
The 28-year-old played just seven games for the Magpies last season and had managed only one in 2008 before suffering the latest setback when a tackle went wrong playing against Werribee in the VFL on Saturday.
"Brodie broke the large radius bone just above the wrist in his right arm on Saturday," Collingwood chief of football Geoff Walsh told Collingwoodfc.com.au.
"He had a plate put in there to stabilise the affected area on Monday, and he will miss the remainder of the season."
Holland's only game in the seniors this season came in the Round 5 loss to North Melbourne, when he had four kicks and eight handballs, but a nagging Achilles injury has restricted his appearances.
Playing his third match since finally overcoming the Achilles ailment, Holland suffered his latest setback when an opponent he was tackling fell awkwardly on his arm
Having played 111 games in his first six seasons as a Magpie, after playing 36 times for Fremantle from 1998-2000, Holland's 2007 season began late as a result of a lengthy suspension for his heavy bump on Brett Montgomery in the 2006 qualifying final.
He returned in Round 7 and played seven games but had to watch on as Collingwood went within a kick of beating Geelong in the preliminary final after his season was ended early by the Achilles injury that also derailed his 2008 campaign.
"Brodie had worked hard to overcome his Achilles injury, and to have this happen at this time of year after battling through his rehabilitation for a long time, is shocking luck," Walsh added.
