The Townsville Crocodiles have scored their third consecutive win of the season, downing the Perth Wildcats 97-80 at the Townsville Entertainment Centre Saturday night.
The homeside's hard-working bench provided 54 points, including 27 from Kelvin Robertson in the 200th game of his career.
Cameron Tovey chipped in with 15 and Rosell Ellis with 14 while the Wildcats relied on Darnell Hinson (15), Shawn Redhage (14) and Peter Crawford (13).
The homeside struggled in offence early, allowing 14 points from turnovers and the Wildcats a 10-point lead.
Stars Corey Williams and Ellis were benched after both racked up two personal fouls each, paving the way for Robertson and Michael Cedar who had an immediate impact, the latter sinking from beyond the arc.
The Crocs' bench scored 10 points in the quarter to go into the break at an unlikely 22 a piece.
It was a tight contest until the last quarter when Townsville pulled away from the visitors with Robertson sinking from long range to cap of his landmark night and victory.
Wildcats' tough road trip continues with the Tigers on Wednesday night, Hawks on Friday night and Spirit on Saturday night. The Crocodiles next match against Perth again on Friday October 17.
