The Wollongong Hawks have bolstered their front court with the signing of American import Dusty Rychart on a two-year deal.
The 29-year-old, who played a central role in leading the Brisbane Bullets to the 2007 NBL championship, is set to join Boomers forward Glen Saville, Cam Tragardh, Larry Davidson, Dan Jackson and newcomer Anthony Petrie in a strong Hawks' line-up.
"I can't wait to play down in Wollongong, the atmosphere there is great. I have heard nothing but good things about Wollongong, and I've heard the fans and sponsors are very supportive," Rychart said.
"The team will be a competitive one, there are young guys keen to learn and the veterans like Glen Saville and Mat Campbell make it a good mix. I know Kavossy (Franklin) well and I'm excited about the move."
Rychart, who also played with Victoria Titans and Adelaide before joining the now-defunct Brisbane, will arrive at Wollongong in mid-August for pre-season training.
