Cricket South Africa has confirmed the dates of Australia's tour of the Republic which will commence in February 2009 and will almost immediately follow the Proteas' tour of Australia which ends in January.
The Australian tour will consist of a three-Test series, a five-match one-day international series and two Twenty20 internationals.
The Test series will run from February 26 to March 23 and will be followed by day-night Twenty20 fixtures on March 27 and 29.
The month of April has been set aside exclusively for the 50-over version of the game with the two-month tour coming to an end at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg on April 17 for the fifth and final one-dayer.
