Queensland coach Frank Farina has extended his tenure at the helm of the Roar for a further two years, the club announced on Tuesday.
The former coach of the Socceroos has stretched his stay with the Brisbane-based outfit until the end of the 2010/11 A-League season.
Farina said the decision was 'a no-brainer'.
"We've got some wonderful players," Farina said.
"To get a further two years to work with the squad that we've got and the young players coming through, I couldn't be more pleased."
Farina said his impressive young stocks, including Michael Zullo, Robbie Kruse and Tahj Minniecon, would benefit from his signing.
"Once they know, it's easier to convince them that they're in the right place," Farina said.
"If they see stability at the top in terms of leadership and decision-making, that comforts them."
Farina took the Roar to a maiden finals appearance last season and Roar chief executive is eyeing post-season action once more when the new campaign begins this weekend.
"Frank is a top coach," Oudendyk said.
"It's a matter of consistency for the club that we know our youth policy going forward is protected and that more young players will be joining the club as a result of Frank's long-term commitment to the club."
