Miss Andretti set for Adelaide return

Outstanding sprinting mare Miss Andretti will make her return to the track this Saturday in the Group One Robert Sangster Stakes at Morphettville.
Miss Andretti has not raced since her flop in Hong Kong last December after which trainer Lee Freedman concluded the mare was not suited to the clockwise way of going.
Her failure was a sour end to 2007 in which she won four times at Group One level and flew the flag for Australia with victory in the King Stand Stakes at Ascot in June.
To be ridden by regular jockey Craig Newitt, Miss Andretti is likely to start at better than even money for Saturday's $302,200 weight-for-age sprint for mares over 1200m after drawing gate six in the 14-horse field.
She will start next to the Mick Price-trained Bel Mer, which has gate seven after beating male sprinters at Caulfield on March 1. Steven King has replaced Newitt aboard Bel Mer.
Freedman will also saddle up three-year-old fillies Royal Asscher and Gibraltar Campion, while David Hayes has engaged last year's Blue Diamond winner Sleek Chassis and Miss Fantabulous.
The race also marks the return of Leon McDonald's VRC Oaks runner-up Serious Speed.
The Robert Sangster is one of two Group One races in Adelaide this Saturday, the other being the Australasian Oaks where the Pat Hyland-trained Zarita will get her chance at breaking her duck at the elite level.
Zarita, which will jump from gate seven, has won her past two at Group Two level and was one of the better fillies in her age group last spring in Melbourne.
