North Queensland has secured the services of Rabbitoh Manase Manuokafoa for three seasons starting from next year.

23-year-old Manuokafoa will play with the Cowboys from 2009 until the end of the 2011.

The South Sydney front rower has played 62 first-grade NRL games since making his debut in 2005.

North Queensland chief executive Peter Parr welcomed the addition of 190cm, 115kg Manuokafoa.

"Manase is a young gifted player, who will add both size and quality to our forward pack," Parr said on Thursday.

"It is great news that this talented forward has decided to play for the Cowboys."
