Myles hit for six

04/07/2008 2:27 PM

Queensland forward Nate Myles will miss the next six games for the Sydney Roosters after entering an early guilty plea for a spear tackle during Wednesday night's State of Origin decider.

The Maroons enforcer was charged with a grade three dangerous throw for his spear tackle on New South Wales forward Ben Cross early in the second half of the Maroons' 16-10 victory over the Blues.

Myles risked an eight-week suspension had he contested the charge and lost, but now the Roosters will be without the 23-year-old until their Round 24 clash against the Sharks.
