battle with Richmond.

9 ADELAIDE: 8-8, 104.7. TO COME: Sydney (SCG), Carlton (AAMI), Richmond (AAMI), Essendon (TD), St Kilda (TD), Bulldogs (AAMI). LIKELY FINISH: With five losses in a row - their worst run under Neil Craig - the Crows look gone and would need to win four of their last six to make the eight. Unlikely.

10 RICHMOND: 7-8-1, 96.9. TO COME: Brisbane (TD), Geelong (TD), Adelaide (AAMI), Hawthorn (MCG), Fremantle (MCG), Melbourne (MCG). LIKELY FINISH: The Tigers have emerged as a surprise chance to make the finals for only the third time since 1982 but must beat the Lions this week and the fading Crows in Round 19. The last two rounds look certain wins. That may be enough to grab eighth on percentage from North but would need one more win to be sure.

11 CARLTON: 7-9, 94.1. TO COME: Bulldogs (TD), Adelaide (AAMI), Port Adelaide (TD), North Melb (TD), Brisbane (Gabba), Hawthorn (TD). LIKELY FINISH: Slim finals hopes likely to end this week with a loss to the Bulldogs.
