Former world No.1 Carlos Moya has come from behind to win through to the quarter-finals of the Croatia Open.
Moya defeated Serbian Viktor Troicki 3-6 7-6 (7-2) 7-5 to set up a battle in the next round with Italian seventh seed Fabio Fognini, who defeated compatriot Filippo Volandri 6-4 6-4.
Brazilian eighth seed Marcos Daniel, however, suffered a 6-4 6-2 defeat at the hands of German Mischa Zverev.
At the Austrian Open, seeds Potito Starace and Eduardo Schwank both advanced to the final eight with straight-sets victories.
Also through were Romanian Victor Hanescu and Argentine Brian Dabul.
Meanwhile, top-seeded Frenchman Marc Gicquel and third seed Steve Darcis are through to the quarter-finals of the Dutch Open.
Gicquel defeated local hope Thiemo de Bakker 7-6 (8-6) 6-3, while Darcis was too strong for Spaniard Albert Martin 6-1 7-6 (7-5).
Seventh seed Martin Vassallo Arguello departed, beaten 6-4 6-0 by Russian Teimuraz Gabashvili, and Christophe Rochus ousted German Philipp Petzschner 6-3 6-4.
