Persistent rain wreaked havoc at the Gastein Ladies tournament on Thursday with just one match completed before play was suspended for the day.
Top seed Agnes Szavay of Hungary, third-seeded Dane Caroline Wozniacki and Frenchwomen Pauline Parmentier, the fourth seed, all saw their second-round matches postponed without a ball being hit.
Patricia Mayr was the only player to finish her match, a 6-3 6-3 victory over Rossana De Los Rios, while seventh seed Iveta Benesova was level at one set apiece with Galina Voskoboeva in their clash, 6-4 4-6 1-1, when the wet weather set in.
That match, plus six other second-round meetings, has now been rescheduled for Friday.
