Wozniacki eases into last eight

Third seed Caroline Wozniacki was untroubled as she progressed to the last eight of the Banka Koper Slovenia Open in Portoroz.
The Dane, who defeated Slovenia's Andreja Klepac in the first round, won her second-round contest with Croatian wildcard Karolina Sprem 6-1 6-1.
Wozniacki, who is ranked 29th in the world and is seeking a first Tour title, will meet Vera Dushevina in the quarter-final on Thursday.
Unseeded Russian Dushevina defeated Britain's Katie O'Brien 6-3 6-2 to advance to the last eight.
Fourth seed Anabel Medina Garrigues was also a straight-sets winner, defeating Ukraine's Julia Vakulenko 6-4 6-4.
Croatia's Petra Martic defeated Klara Zakopalova of the Czech Republic 6-3 4-6 7-6 (7-3).
Top seed Maria Kirilenko of Russia will meet Italy's Roberta Vinci in the second round on Thursday, while home favourite Katarina Srebotnik will play Germany's Julia Goerges.
