Vitezslav Lavicka becomes Sydney's fifth coach is as many seasons and possible it's lowest profile one. After a series of high profile coaches fell out with the club an/or the players, Lavicka has come in and promise to get the culture right for the team predicted to be the league powerhouse. Having spent seven years coaching at various levels in his native Czech Republic, he comes to Australia having twice been voted Czech Coach of the Year. While there are several new faces at the club, Lavicka's challenge will be getting a talented but dispirited bunch of players back top playing their best football.
