Beauchamp moves to UAE

Socceroo defender Michael Beauchamp has moved from Aalborg BK to the Al Jazira club in the United Arab Emirates.

Beauchamp still had two years left on his deal with the Aalborg BK but the Dutch club decided to sell the World Cup hopeful.

The 28-year-old underwent a medical and agreed to personal terms in recent days to make the deal official.

"A sale was an ideal solution for both AaB and Michael Beauchamp, who we wish every success in the future career, "said Aalborg BK sporting director Lynge Jakobsen.

Beauchamp moved to Aalborg BK form FC Nuremberg in 2008 and appeared in 23 wins for the club, scoring one goal.
