Liverpool leaves it late

06/10/2008 4:46 AM

probably a few more expletives yelled out as well as Kinnear watched his team go two goals down after Mikel Arteta converted a 17th minute penalty before Marouane Fellaini's neat finish doubled the lead.

But Steven Taylor led the charge, nodding home on the stroke of half-time before crossing for Damien Duff to equalise in the 46th minute.

The Toffees were fortunate even to grab a point however, as Leighton Baines produced a brilliant diving save to keep out Charles N'Zogbia's goalbound effort late in the second half.
