Adelaide United has named a 25-man squad for its upcoming campaign in the Asian Champions League (ACL).
The squad has been sent to the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and United is now awaiting approval from the regional governing body.
Adelaide will have a slightly different look about it since the completion of the Hyundai A-League season with Alvin Ceccoli and Sasa Ognenovski both crossing over from Central Coast and Queensland respectively in time for the ACL.
United was forced to leave Dutchman Bobby Petta out of its squad with the AFC stipulating that each participating club can only include three foreign signings -
Jonas Salley (Ivory Coast), Cassio (Brazil) and Diego (Brazil) complete Adelaide's quota.
United has included skipper Michael Valkanis despite the fact that he continues to suffer from a knee injury and hope that he will be fit for the latter stages of the tournament if they happen to get that far.
Adelaide will travel to South Korea for its opening clash against reigning K-League champions the Pohang Steelers on March 12.
