Competition co-leaders Brisbane and Melbourne have been hardest hit by State of Origin call-ups, with a combined total of 14 players to sit out Round 10 matches.
The Storm have nine players - Anthony Quinn, Brett White, Ryan Hoffman, Greg Inglis, Israel Folau, Cameron Smith, Michael Crocker, Dallas Johnson and Billy Slater - unable to play against St George Illawarra at WIN Stadium on Saturday night.
Coach Craig Bellamy, himself tied up on Origin duty with NSW, has reached deep into the club's feeder system to unearth untried players such as Aiden Tolman, Liam Foran, Kevin Proctor, Scott Anderson, Sinbad Kali and Lucas Miller to cover for absent stars.
Queenslanders Karmichael Hunt, Justin Hodges, Sam Thaiday, PJ Marsh and Sam Hannant, along with Brisbane-based NSW half-back Peter Wallace, will all miss the Broncos' trip to Cronulla.
It's caused a massive re-shuffle in the Broncos' line-up, with unknowns Derrick Watkins, Andrew McCullogh, Isaak Ah Mau and Tom Hewitt among the new faces.
The Sharks will be without the services of the 'Bruise Brothers', Greg Bird and Paul Gallen.
Parramatta and the Roosters will also be missing key players when they kick off Round 10 at Parramatta Stadium on Friday night.
The Roosters' NSW foursome Anthony Topou, Willie Mason, Nate Myles and Craig Fitzgibbon have leave passes, while Jarryd Hayne won't be there for the Eels.
Taulima Tautai takes Hayne's place in the centres.
"Taulima's been solid for us this season and was probably unlucky to miss out last week," Hagan said.
"He'll add plenty this week as will the rest of the team."
"No doubt we're disappointed for the likes of Brett Finch and Nathan Hindmarsh, missing out on Origin one, but that said we're very happy they'll be playing for us on Friday."
"We're coming off a short turn around and have another bye coming up next week so it's a nice feeling to be settled at this stage of the representative season."
The Bulldogs will be without goalkicking winger Hazem El Masri but have Luke Patten, Sonny Bill Williams, Brad Morrin and Ben Roberts all returning for Friday's clash with the Gold Coast at Skilled Stadium.
Heka Nanai deputies for El Masri, with Daniel Holdsworth to resume kicking duties.
Prop Luke Bailey returns for the Titans.
And the Wests Tigers welcome back superstar duo Benji Marshall and Robbie Farah for Sunday's tough road trip to Newcastle.
Newcastle has named Wes Naiqama at full-back in place of the injured Kurt Gidley.
