The Wests Tigers have lost no time in replacing Dean Collis, signing Cronulla utility Mitch Brown to a two year contract on Friday.
Twenty-one-year-old Brown has played 33 games for Cronulla since his debut in 2006 and he joins the Tigers just days after the club lost centre Collis to the Sharks.
Tigers' assistant coach Royce Simmons hailed the signing of Brown and was pleased the club had acquired a player capable of playing in most positions.
"Mitch can play full-back, wing and centre so he brings plenty of versatility to us," Simmons said.
"He came through the Australian Schoolboys U18s team in 2005 with the likes of Darius Boyd, Michael Jennings, Mitchell Pearce and a host of other names."
"We are looking forward to him joining us next season," he said.
The signing of Brown comes on top of the recent signings of former Brisbane and Bradford winger Tame Tupou and Penrith centre Geoff Daniela.
