Fittler sacked

Roosters coach Brad Fittler has been sacked and will be replaced by Newcastle boss Brian Smith from next season.
Fittler's future has been in doubt for some time after the Roosters' nosedive from fourth to last in the space of 12 months.
Smith will be brought into the Roosters to re-structure and overhaul the club after a nightmare season on and off the field.
The experienced coach has done a wonderful job with Newcastle after overseeing a player cleanout and re-structure two years ago.
Neither the Roosters or Newcastle have commented on Fittler's axing or Smith's appointment.
