Sailor to become a Dragon

Dual international Wendell Sailor has agreed to terms with the St George Illawarra Dragons until the end of the 2009 NRL season.
The 33-year-old returns from a two-year ban issued in 2006 after the then Wallabies winger tested positive to cocaine.
Sailor, who crossed over to rugby union in 2002 after achieving success at every level in the 13-man game, is expected to turn out for Dragons' feeder club Shellharbour this weekend.
The move will see Sailor reunited with his long-time mentor Wayne Bennett, who will link with the famous club next season.
Bennett helped mould the talented Sailor into a world-class player during his time at the Broncos.
The larger-than-life figure will begin his comeback on the wing, with a move into the second row a distinct possibility down the track.
"I'm very excited about joining the Dragons and am grateful to them for giving me the opportunity," Sailor said on Monday.
"I don't believe that my sporting career is finished and I have had a long time to reflect upon it - having been outside of the sporting arena since May 2006."
"I believe that I can still compete at a high level and it is comforting to know that I now have a real opportunity to do so."
"I'm looking forward to the challenge, I have worked hard on my fitness and I'm excited about playing my first competitive rugby league game since the 2001 preliminary final against Parramatta."
