Melbourne Storm full-back Billy Slater faces a two-match suspension after being charged by the NRL judiciary with a grade two contrary conduct charge.
Slater, who was sin-binned for his part in an all-in brawl in the 26-0 win over the Dragons on Monday night, cannot have the penalty decreased with an early guilty plea or increased with an unsuccessful challenge and is likely to challenge the ban.
The Storm has until Wednesday 12pm to make a decision.
Dragons second-rower Beau Scott faces a one-game ban for his part in Monday night's brawl, irrespective of whether he makes an early guilty plea.
Meanwhile, Rabbitohs hooker Issac Luke has accepted his one-game suspension for his dangerous throw tackle during his side's 36-12 loss to the Tigers on Sunday.
