The Warriors have named an unchanged side for the second week in a row going into a mammoth task against Melbourne at Mt Smart Stadium on Sunday.
Confidence is high in the Warriors camp after three wins in a row against the Tigers, Cowboys and a 40-22 win over the Bulldogs last Saturday in Sydney.
They'll require every inch of that confidence against the defending premiers, who have star quality right across the field.
"We've shown a lot of improvement in the past few weeks," said coach Ivan Cleary. "Obviously our defence needed to be better than it was and it has been.
"But while it's helped our confidence to win our last three games, we now have to face up to one of the best sides the NRL has seen.
"There are so many outstanding players in the Melbourne side. They're a class outfit and a huge challenge for us."
Containing the likes of Melbourne's outstanding backs Greg Inglis, Israel Folau and Cooper Cronk is the challenge as the 11th-placed Warriors look to continue a push towards playoff qualification.
The Warriors have the advantage of an eight-day turnaround and a home match, while the Storm face a trip across the Tasman only six days after Monday's spiteful 26-0 home win over the Dragons.
The highlight of the match, which saw three players sin-binned and Dragons prop Jason Ryles sent off, was Folau's amazing leap to score the opening try where he took down a bomb, was seemingly held by the defence but was powerful enough to reach out and score his ninth try this season.
His high-flying exploits will result in the likely targeting of the Warriors' back three of fullback Lance Hohaia and wings Malo Solomona and Aidan Kirk.
The two sides last met in the opening round of the season, resulting in a 32-18 win to the Storm in Melbourne.
