Courtney claims last race

Jim Beam Racing driver James Courtney has won the V8 Supercar season-ending Sydney 500 race at the Olympic Park circuit on Sunday.
Courtney completed the 74 laps in two hours, eight minutes and 16.0105 seconds to win his second race of the season and finish 2009 in seventh position with 2192 points.
The Ford driver finished ahead of Garry Rogers Motorsport's Michael Caruso who completed the circuit in a time of 2:08:19.9192, handing him 11th position overall with 1977 points.
Mark Winterbottom (2:08:26.6970) of Ford Performance Racing ended up third and confirmed a top-five season finish in the process with 2414 points.
Russell Ingall (Supercheap Auto Racing) was fourth after clocking 2:08:29.2888 and Wilson Security Racing driver Fabian Coulthard rounded out the top five with a time of 2:08:30.9702.
SP Tools Racing's Shane Van Gisbergen (2:08:36.7798) ensured four of the top six cars were Fords when he came in at sixth.
Greg Murphy (2:08:41.9143) of Sprint Gas Racing was seventh-fastest while Will Davison (Toll Holden Racing Team) was gifted second spot in the driver championship after team-mate Garth Tander failed to finish.
Davison finished eighth in a time of 2:08:48.8577, giving him an extra 90 points for a total 3044 after he headed into Race 26 with just a 38-point overall lead over Tander.
Tander could only complete 28 laps before he made an early exit from the race.
Irwin Racing driver Alex Davison (2:08:58.8421) finished ninth while Courtney's team-mate Steven Johnson completed the top 10 after clocking 2:09:29.1305.
